I hope I made you happy not just yesterday for your surprise birthday party, but also through the years that we've been friends :)
There are only two men in my life that I would exert this much effort on: you and John. But a grand surprise birthday party? Just you :)
This is the first time that I'll write you a letter so there's a big chance that this is gonna be a long one. Bear with me, okay? I'm poor, and gifts like these are the ones that I prefer to give, simply because I like putting a little of me on things that I share.
Well, first, am sorry for the times that I get in your nerves, alam ko madami dami yun especially nung unang nagkakapaan pa lang tayo ng ugali ng isa't isa :)) I remember the days na mataray ka sa text, to the point na hindi ka sumasagot dahil napakadaldal ko at ikaw naman e di mo alam anong gagawin saken. Haha! I guess that's what made us last; the fact na na-endure natin ang isa't isa before to the point na nagkasanayan na :) Sorry din sa times na akala mo, nakalimutan na kita, na-take for granted or anupamang negative: this is not true. I hope I can make it up to you. :)
Thank you for everything. For the honesty during the time that I was heartbroken, and when no one would listen, you were there. For the times that you helped me in my times of need, and for the unending laughter and happy times. For the moral support on trying and challenging times, and for the endless bonding moments that only you and I share. Sa dami nun, di ko na maalala lahat :))
I guess for me, you were always the one person who appreciates even the smallest things I do. :)
For your surprise birthday party, ang tagal kong pinagisipan kung itutuloy ko ba or hindi. And when I finally decided to go for it, it took 4 days before nadagdagan yung "Going". It was just me and Jamaica and Dawnie. Nung ika-cancel ko na, nagsimula ng dumating ang mga going at maybe. Surprisingly, the attendance in the party is both going and maybe, at marami pang ibang tao :) Am happy.
Then, nung malapit na ang event, I was so scared kasi, hindi ko alam anong magiging reaction mo. I've known you for 5 years now, and I know how much you dislike having the attention all to yourself. That's also the reason, I think, that you are a great photographer. You're better in making other people look and feel better, just as you have done for me all these years. But cyempre, sabi nga nila, the ball's rolling already, so there's no choice but to aim for the goal: the party began.
Up to now, I have qualms as to whether or not you're mad that you had a surprise party. I guess lalo na sa video. Pero I want you to know and feel how special you are to me, and I mean it when I said that ikaw lang ang kaisa-isang taong pagpaplanuhan ko ng ganitong surprise :)
I love you, Momo! :) I wish for a new career for you, you deserve better than what you're settling for right now. Take the risk and take the plunge. You have nothing to worry about naman kasi, I'm always here for you wherever the roads you decide to take lead :)
